I do stop motion animation videos for a living (http://www.youtube.com/user/sumkid101) and I’ve been using a Canon Optura 10 for my animations. But I’m ready to take my aniamtion to the next level, which means buying a new camera. I’ve been looking around for months, but nothing seems to have EVERYTHING i need. so maybe someone can help me find a camera with;
1. HD Quality (Either 1080p or 720p)
2. Over 5MP
3.Has a Remote Control
4.Shoots in Widescreen (16:9)
5.Has a rechargeable Battery
6.Has Manual Controls (Especially Manual focus, perhaps even with a mechanical focus ring)
7.Has a High quality lens, suitable for Macro photography and dim-lit settings
8.Has Firewire & USB conections (Especially firewire!)
9.And of course, doesnt have a ridiculas price tag (somewhere around $500 or less if possible)
Sorry for being so picky, I’m a proffesional is this business and need some support. Thank you for any suggestions and advice ![]()
